Am i to young.... age 14 to have sex?

I mean dude my 11 year old sister did, is she 2 young?

Hello abs!! :o) I hope you're OK. I understand the pressure you're under. Here you are - 14 years old and your younger sister has already had sex. But it's important to understand that you are NOT your sister. You have to do what YOU think is right for YOU. I believe that it's far too young to have sex when you are only 11 years old. I also believe that it's too young to have sex when you're 14. You're only going to be young for a little while. And having sex really changes things and complicates life. You already have enough to worry about so I would strongly suggest that you put aside the idea of having sex and enjoy the fact that you're still a kid. [Which is a good thing!!] There will be plenty of time for sex later. Just so you know - I have talked to hundreds of people about sex. [through my homepage] and MOST of them REGRET that they didn't wait a little longer before having sex. Take care of yourself. Craig!! :o)

Yes, dear you are too young. First of all when you are 14, you are still going through puberty, and developing and maturing mentally. You need to focus on school and developing friendships rather than sex. When you are 14 you don't know exactly yet what love is, and with love comes sex. I believe that sex should come after marriage, but of course not everyone thinks that way. Just wait until you are older and READY and you know the time is right. Don't let any guy pressure you into something you aren't ready for. Your virginity is a special gift and a very special guy deserves it. Don't just give it away for free, b/c he will move on to greener pastures once his goal (sex) has been reached. Like my mama says "why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free??" Just be careful, have safe sex if you do have sex, and do what you feel is right. God bless you! :)

Think about it, do you honestly want to be doing something that carries so many consiquences at such a young age? Personally I think that 14 is to young to have sex and 11 is way out of the question. Then again (this is me personally) I didn't start having sex until I was 19, and I ended up pregnant (not that its a bad thing, but remember what was said about consiquences).

Talk to your Mom, Councilor, or another trusted family member. Why would you want to have sex? Is it really worth it? Are you mature enough for it? Are you able to handle the responsibilities of your life and possibly anothers?

Just things to think about before making that decision.

First of all I want to know where your parents are because an 11 year old and 14 year old are not emotionally ready to have sex. You need to focus on your education so you can be a productive adult later on in life.
At your age having sex and the risk of getting pregnant is very high. You guys at that age is not ready or mature enoughtto handle having kids. So you need to slow down. Just because every body else is doing it doesn't mean you should be doing it.

I am like the majority on here... I have no idea what to say. I am 16 and just thinking of a 14 (even an 11) year old having sex is sickening. What is the point? Geez... talk to someone close to you if you dont want to talk to a parent. Stop and think about what could happen and placing something like this online is not very responsible!

sex is not somthing to be messed w/until marige, don't you see? If both parters wait you don't deal w/STD's, and it's so much more worth it, you so your love for your husband by waiting.

Definetly. You have your whole life ahead of you with so many other things to experience.Sex and making mad passionate love are two different things. Wait till marriage when it is legal it will be more special.Remember for everyone you have sex with you are having sex with all those before you.You can catch deceases ,make a baby and even die from poor choices. Sorry to be so blunt, but an early age it is not worth spoiling your future.
Find some other extra activity to enjoy.I know you are curious,but just wait.

Yes, you are too young to have sex and yes your sister is WAY too young to even be thinking about it, yet alone having it. Don't follow her example - just because someone else does it doesn't mean you should do it. Neither one of you is mature enough to deal with it and you will have major issues later in life because of it. Just enjoy being a teen, you don't have to have sex to do that.

well thats way to young and your just asking to get pregent let me tell you something im 23 and i have 3 kids that are 6, 5, 11 mths i dont have a life anymore i cant go out with my friends or nothing and if your smarter then that you wont have sex.... dont ruin your life yet your young and you need to finsh school talk to your sister about this think about what you want to do in life.......so young and that man will walk out of your life fast as ****.....

Yes it's too young, sex is supposed to be an emotional event and you are way too young to deal with it. Plus, what if a pregnancy occured? Just wait until you are a little older and can enjoy it completely.
