I thought it offensive when they put in God we trust on our money since the love of money is the root of all evil.
1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
Even though we all need money to survive on, many people tend to fall away from God when they have too much money, hence in the eyse of God, they worship another god (money) other than the almighty God.

A Jesus bobble head doll is at the top of my list. Talk about getting seasick just watching Him duven like that!
That was followed by a (paper) "prayer rug" that you were supposed to kneel and pray on for anything you wanted.
Then you return the rug to the sender. . .along with a generous "love offering," of course.
