Ok, I play volleyball, and am 5'6..Allt he other girls on my team are really short. My coaches go really hard on me because of height..I feel like they think I'm all great because I'm tall and expected to do everything perfect and right. And when I make a mistake, I'm in big trouble for it..Last practice I told them that my height isn't everything, and that I'm human..but they just laughed at me..I used to really love volleyball, and was really excited for it, but now I feel really used, and misunderstood. Everytime after practice I'm in a really bad mood. I just feel like my best isn't good enough..what should I do?

When it comes to the point that you dread going to practice, then you should tell your coaches you're going to quit unless they decide to treat you with more respect.

If they don't care, then you probably don't want to play for them either.

if they really needed you on the team they wouldn't push you around, and let them know that. If I were you I'd probably threatin to quit, even though I love volleyball, there are many other teams out there. You don't have to take my advice. I'm just telling you what I would probably do.......=D I hope you find an answer that helps you out!

I think you should print out this question and take it to them.

A good coach is not JUST interested in winning.

(Okay maybe they are in the NBA or the NFL but this sounds like a question relating to High School sports.)

Of course they could just be trying to get you to try a bit harder...to set goals for yourself and to work to achieve them.

You ...and perhaps your parents...really should sit down and have a chat.

i've known a lot of coaches to do that. They probably see potential in you and so they're pushing you to get it out of you. Take it as a compliment and keep trying hard. They wanna make you better

Literally sit down with your coaches and tell them you are concerned about this! If they still aren't understanding go play for someone else or not at all!
