Hot soapy water, score the surface of the wallpaper, try not 2 go thru 2 the wall beneath.
Sponge the paper, give it time 2 B absorbed & with a lil effort it should come away easily.
Or hire a wallpaper stripper that steams the wallpaper, making it easier 2 remove.

u have to take the first layer off with your hands. then take a squirt bottle with warm water and spray it . keep it wet wait a few then take a scraper and scape it off make sure u take the first layer off first or the water wont do nothing. don't listen to these other people water wont budge it if the first layer is still on . you will get it down and it will be easy for you. i am a painter and I've done hundreds of wallpaper jobs . this is the best way

You get a scraper from a decorating shop and scrape it all off! It's easier if you scratch the paper then wet it first. Let the water soak into it before you start scraping. Make sure you get all the little bits off or they will show as bumps on your new paper or paint.

GET A SPRAY BOTTLE OF WATER, AND A SCRAPER. WET THE WALLPAPER, THEN SCRAPE IT OFF. IT COMES OFF VERY EASY WHEN WET ENOUGH.
