IGNORING THE LONELY PEOPLE IS THAT OK? I mean say you knew some people like that but you ignored their woe.?

Think of the world less troubled less lonliness less hurting less needing if their were less who were ostrisized/alone,and ignored what do you think.

This is a very thoughtful question.

Nope, it's not ok to ignore the lonely people cuz some of them are going to be the best peeps you've ever met. So even if you're doing it out of selfish reasons, you should still do it.

It's kinda like the way some ppl think of religion. They want to get into heaven so they are good. Well, maybe at the end of life, God might say, 'guess what? there is no heaven' = would those ppl thank God for the life they had or be really really mad at God for not giving more?

Just be you and do what you can do. Be grateful for what you have. Don't ask for too much. And if you see somebody hurting along the journey, stop and see what you can do to help out. It won't hurt you and you might change somebody's life.

If we all did this with just one other person, imagine a new world.

If I know of anyone that is lonely or sad, I will go to them someway, a phone call, a note etc to see if they are open
to visitation or whatever. I sent a pizza to a woman whose
teenage daughter had given birth to a child and she was alone.
They called & thanked me and told me how much it meant to
them. I keep in touch with them after 3 years. It doesn't cost
so much to do things for lonely peope. I think it would be so
sad to be alone and peope just leave you that way. We can do
more for others!!

I have a neighbor who is lonely and I have tried to befriend her but she just turns my friendship away. So some people just want to go through life lonely. So why try to make people do things they don't want to do?

i think you should change your way and treat them in a good way because their may be time you don't find any one next to you except this person.When i went to a new school i got this friend who also was my neighbor and i always used to be with him but he used to leave me alone and go with other friends and he didn't even try to let them know me after a month i guess i knew alot of people and he came to me after his friends left him
