Beef Ribs N Coke Recipe(something very different)
Ingredients:
3 to 5 lb. Beef Ribs
3 to 5 liters Coke
3 to 5 Tbs. Sweet Chili Sauce
2 or 3 medium Onions, finely chopped and divided
1 to 3 Tbs. Olive Oil
3 to 5 Tbs. Brown Sugar
3 to 5 Tbs. Vinegar
2 to 4 Tbs. Worcestershire Sauce
About 1/4 cup Tomato Sauce or Ketchup
About 1 cup BBQ Sauce
About 1/2 liter Coke
Simmer the beef ribs in the Coke, chili sauce, and 1 or 2 of the chopped onions in a large pot over medium heat for about a half hour.
Meanwhile, prepare the marinade by warming the olive oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Nearly (but don't quite!) burn a single finely chopped onion in the hot oil, add the brown sugar and vinegar, and caramelize the marinade base, stirring constantly. Add the Worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce or ketchup, BBQ sauce, and about 1/2 liter of Coke. Heat the marinade until it's near the boil.
Refrigerate to marinate the parboiled beef ribs for about 2 hours prior to grilling.
Grill slowly over a low flame or coals for about an hour until done, turning and basting with leftover marinade that has been re-heated to boiling. The grilling time of 2 or 3 hours is greatly reduced because the beef ribs were partially cooked during the parboiling and marinating process.
Great with grilled corn on the cob and potatoes!

I'm making some myself right now! The best way I've found is to boil first for about 10-20 minutes, until almost done. Season with Lawry's season salt, black pepper, garlic powder, let cool and rub the seasons into the meat really good. Place on the grill and let grill turning about every 10-15 minutes. Turn with tongs, not a fork to keep the juices in. When they are grilled to your taste, baste on bbq sauce. You want to wait until they are almost ready to be removed from the grill, otherwise the sauce will just burn. Turn and baste the other side, I usually turn and baste at least 2-3 times to get the flavor really into the meat. I do have my own sauce that i make, but if i give you that recipe I'd have to hunt you down and dispose of you! ENjoy!!

Best Barbeque Ribs
2 tablespoons paprika
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 1/2 teaspoons fresh coarse ground black pepper
1 teaspoon cumin
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
4 racks of baby-back pork ribs (about 1 lb each)
heavy-duty aluminum foil
6 ice cubes
Combine paprika, brown sugar, salt, chili powder, black pepper, cumin, and cayenne in a small bowl.
Pat ribs dry with paper towels.
Rub spice mixture all over ribs.
Place 2 rib racks side by side on a double layer of foil; place 3 ice cubes under the sides and seal foil around the ribs well.
Repeat with the next two racks of ribs.
Place foil packets on grill rack; cover and cook for 1 hour, carefully turning once with tongs after half an hour.
When ribs are done, cut an X in the top of the packets to allow steam to escape; pull foil back exposing the ribs.
Remove the ribs and place directly on the grill rack; cover and grill 7 to 10 minutes or until browned, turning once.
Brush ribs with barbeque sauce and cook 7 to 10 minutes longer, brushing with more sauce and turning often.
Cut ribs into 1-rib portions.

Apply dry rub, then slow cook at 225F for three hours, oven will give you more control. These are best done in a smoker rather than a grill. You can put them on foil in the pan in the oven and cook as mentioned above, and then put them (still on foil) on the grill for the last few minutes to soak up some smokey flavor.
If you are going to do this much, you really should invest in a smoker. Then you can do ribs, brisket, boston butt, more ribs, sausages, and invite me over, lol.

Beef or pork spareribs
1 liter of Dr. Pepper (not diet)
2 tsp. Liquid smoke
Galic cloves, smashed
One onion, quartered
Your favorite .BBQ sauce
Put spareribs in large pot or Dutch oven. Cover with Dr.
Pepper, so that all ribs are completely covered. Add liquid
smoke, (a few shakes), garlic cloves to taste (I sometimes
add a whole head of garlic for 12 country-style spareribs)
and onion. Bring to boil, then simmer until ribs are tender.
Take ribs out and place in shallow pan, pour BBQ sauce
over all and turn ribs over to get the BBQ sauce over all of
the ribs.
Place in a 350º oven and bake until desired degree of
doneness.
The Dr. Pepper adds a sweet taste to the ribs and they
are very moist and tender. We also use this recipe on the
grill.

Bake them instead!

black pepper (season to taste)
garlic powder (season to taste)
1 lemon (sliced)
1 large onion (sliced)
1 cup ketchup
1/3 cup Worcestershire Sauce
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 dashes Tabasco Sauce
2 cups water
Place ribs in a large shallow roasting pan, meaty side up. (mine measures 14 x 10 1/2) Season meat with pepper and garlic powder. On each piece place a slice of unpeeled lemon, a slice of onion. Roast in a very hot oven (450 degrees) for 30 minutes. Drain grease from meat pan. Combine remaining ingredients in saucepan and bring to a boil and pour over ribs. Continue baking in moderate oven
(350 degrees) until tender, about 45 minutes to an hour. Baste ribs with sauce every 15 minutes. If sauce gets thick, add more water.

If you only have a few hours, then buy them premade.
The best ones are cooked for maybe 10 hours, slowly. Some cayenne, brown sugar, paprika, salt, pepper, etc. Then cooked 'till it just falls off the bones.
