I have often wondered this myself. When a pet is ill valuable time can be lost when someone asks on the net instead of calling a vet. Also NO ONE, even if they are a licensed vet can legally or otherwise diagnose over the net.The only way to get a correct diagnosis is for the pet to have an exam in person by a licensed vet.

For me personally, I listed 2.... fila brasiliero sick help and why not to deworm a sick dog....I asked these AFTER taking him to the vet because I wanted an unbiased answer. I feel he was improperly treated and that resulted in his death...I am hoping to get the answers I need so I can properly take action against the vet. SO anybody with vet experience pls, see the 2 questions above and help....we miss him so much and I feel his death was all negligence from what I have found so far...

Some people can't afford a vet and there are alot of people out there that have experienced alot with their own pets and their advice can be better than a vets advice because the vet will tell you to bring the pet in and try to make money off you. Good question, though.

Because they get these poor creatures without doing their homework on just how much an animal cost to keep healthy.! When the dog/cat whatever is sick, only then do they realise its going to cost them money!! Its not too hard is it? Animals = sick=vets=money!!! if you tell them, take your pet to a vet, then out come the excuses!! Its very simple. If you cannot afford a pet,DO NOT GET ONE!!!

Yes, if someones pet is sick they should immediately take it to the vet, don't waste your time trying to get answers here it could be life or death for the animal. Good point you have made.

cuz sometimes they just don't have the money, they don't have a vet (which is irresponsible-if you have a pet, you should have the money), or sometimes there are vets on here that answer things like, "my cat has a bump on his head, what do i do?". sure a vet could help, but it costs money, when someone on here might know.

because of the fact they are lazy and don't prefer to spend money, curiously. people who think of that's a good suggestion to sit down down around on the cyber web jointly as their dogs vomits blood or their fowl sits hyped up on the backside of the cage somewhat of calling vets rather annoy me. D:

Too cheap to care really about thier pets health, instead of paying for the internet they should use the money to take care of thier family members... Imagine the uproar there would be if people asked the same kind of serious health questions about thier human children, followed by "we cant afford to take him/her to the hospital"..........

I agree, if your animal is sick why would you ask us? Do you think we are vets? Throw down and do the right thing.

no joke. They ask "hey yahoo people my dog cant walk. he is wobbling all over the place. He is crying and seem to be in a lot of pain. I'm not sure if he is breathing right! what should I do?!"
I hate when people do that!!
