When you finance a car. You are responsible to let them know you are moving out of state and give them your address. In some state it is stealing the car, if you move out of state and don't send them your address and not pay for the car. I know I guy that got 5 years.

More than likely your friends vehicle will, or has been reposessed.
Jail time is not likly but credit will be ruined, but that has already been established when the payments stopped.
Financial restitution is required to get your friend out of trouble & back on the right track.

probably just get the car repossesed and face charges from the finance comp with the loan for the car/ but its not like shes running from the law like a fugitive or anything---she should just get in touch w/ everybody and explain the situation
