Wow, I never noticed that these types of questions was on here. It is up to us (black women) to educate those on this site (and anywhere) who make such comments about a group of people. Generalizing or sterotyping a group of people is wrong and when this is done, those people who sterotype others should be corrected. Educate those who are uneducated about this issue. Apparently, they are just interested in our way of life and that is why they are asking these questions. Don't get mad (though it can be hard sometimes) just educate them so that these people would not walk around saying sterotypical/generalizing comments that makes them sound ignorant.

You know I don't think ALL black women are like what some of these people are saying. I guess they've just had bad experiences. I'm Hispanic and I too have experienced what they've said about "Other races taking their good black men"
Here's my thing. First of all it shouldn't be about race! Period! My man is my man! Just cause you're the same color doesn't mean you own him. You don't even know him. Who gives a damn if he's black, white, hispanic, orange, green! If he's mine then he can't be yours. There are black women out there who have good black men too. When there is a black woman with a white man you don't hear anyone saying that she has one of our good white men.
We all have our own preferences. My husband prefers hispanic women. I don't prefer any race I prefer a GOOD A S S Man! But to me that doesn't mean my husband thinks bad of all black women. He just may have had some bad experiences.
I guess bottom line for me is we all need to stop looking at color.
All races have good and bad people and believe it or not All races can be racist. All that S H I T just needs to stop. All the stereotyping needs to stop. We all have 2 eyes, 1 nose, we all bleed red blood, etc.
I get along with all types of people and that's the way it should be.

All of this is stereotyping, and yes the stereotypes do apply to some, just as the statistics apply to some. I think in some cases it not effective to point out what is being said, but rather go toi the root of the problem. They are choosing each other. The white woman didn't just take him. It's his preference and if bothers people so much maye they should ask the black man why, and honeslty listen to the answer. That would be moreefective than getting mad.

Listen, I may not be all black but i am enough to say that black women are the strongest women around. They may not look like Paris Hilton, but we're still beautiful. If men are saying these things , they are just mad that they can't get with us. If there are white girls or asian girls trying to diss us, then that is because they want our butt and hips. Dont pay attention to them. We are black, we are beautiful, we are childern of GOD
