Vinegar, by itself is a very good rinse. best used every couple of weeks to make sure all of the shampoo and junk rinses out of your hair. Since it is acidic, could lighten temporary coloring. Don't know about permanent colors.

It's good for your hair, will help strip off dullness that builds up from shampoo and conditioner that makes it dull and limp. I use about a half and half solution and let it rest in my hair for about 5 minutes. I rinse it then. Vinegar does not leave a smell in fact it can deodorize and neutralize unpleasant odours
You're not going to get any lightening effect from either vinegar or lemon juice you need peroxide for this.

Adding shine back into your hair begins in the shower. As unpleasant as this may seem during the winter months, a cold-water rinse is a great way to boost up the glossy quotient of your locks. The cold water will close, and thus smooth, the cuticle, making it appear shinier. If you're not willing to torture yourself in the name of beauty, go for as cold a rinse as you can stand, and then use a finishing creme during and after your blow-dry to add shine. As for silicone products, I usually recommend that people avoid them. Although they do add shine, silicone-based products are often difficult to wash out, resulting in a buildup in the hair that only serves to dull it rather than add shine. Another popular remedy is a vinegar rinse. This is fine if you use it sparingly -- too many vinegar rinses will only dry out your hair and, again, cause it to look duller than day-old dishwater.

Don't go there. But do mix vinegar and water in a cup and use that as a final rinse. Will make your hair shiney and cut all the residue from shampoo.

sunlight in does no longer be a good suggestion because of the fact i used it to lighten my brown hair and it grew to become it orange. It additionally damages your hair. in case you used sunlight in and grew your hair out that's going to look terrible. believe me I even have had journey with that and that i had to get my hair dyed to get it fastened. Peroxide facilitates to lighten it up so i've got heard, yet once you merely go outdoors lots for the period of the day your hair will of course get lighter without something on your hair.

Vinegar is acid. Why would you put acid in your hair? You should wait until you get to the hairdresser and charge her $150 to do it and then tip her.

I spritz my hair nearly every day with a diluted vinegar/water solution. it removes the chemical buildup from hard water, and makes the hair sofetr. it actually makes my hair curl better, and for those that say it makes your hair smell bad, you.ve obviously not used it. There is no scent after it dries.
