I do not think prozac is the best choice. if you are chronically depressed I believe Prozac only enhances depression, and that could lead to the finality of your life.

I know you mentioned not like to change meds but in this case a combination Zoloft & Lamictal(SUGGESTION ONLY,the later is touted as king). Does yor mind race along?can you complete a project in a set amount of time? do you feel like you what to be anywhere but where you are at now? alway's figgiting? On the go? ask your pschycologist if bi-polar is root, as this problem is more prevalent in society as it is this is being studied more. alot of prison inmates have serious cases of being bi-polar.

ST. John's Wort is remarkable in its ability to raise the spirit(no kidding) best wishes, seek and you will find.
OH! one more thing, do you live in an area of the country were rain and dark clouds are prevelant? Yes? then move. to a sunny locale.

Have you ever tried to go without red food dye in your diet for any length of time? There is a high correlation between depressed people and allergies to red food dye. This is something I was unaware of until recently, but if you've never tried it, you might want to consider it. There are also other foods that might contribute. Go to the great plains laboratories website and call the toll free number. Explain your concerns and ask for a free information packet. It can't hurt, and it doesn't cost a thing. Good luck!

Dysthymia is a comfortable sort of melancholy it incredibly is persistent and durable. those with dysthymia journey the comparable indications as those clinically determined with significant melancholy, yet with much less intensity. All anti-depressants have area outcomes or maybe even with the undeniable fact that no longer many human beings journey the greater extreme ones (e.g., suicidal ideation, vomiting), what's a reason for undertaking is that no person is familiar with what the long-term outcomes of those drugs are. So in case you started taking the anti-depressants, you will no longer comprehend how your physique will react to those drugs in 2 an prolonged time. i might propose no longer filling out that prescription and seeing a therapist first. you are able to overcome the dysthymia devoid of medicine. do no longer enable any wellbeing care expert or pharmaceutical enterprise inform you in yet differently.

my first experince I felt tense on prozac

Zoloft worked better but I got to a point I felt when I was driving I could crash right now and not care. This is when it was in my system kind of a blissful state while not caring like when drunk.

If you are male it ELIMINATES all sex drive. Which doesn't bother me to much but is an issue. I will nottake them again. I needed something for anxiety and thats what they offered. I just assume klonopin waffer.

i know meds suck but they put us on them for our own good. i am on welbutrin. i was on paxcel but it wasn't working. they change them on you so they can figure out which one works the best. my dad was on Zoloft but it didn't work to good for him. sometimes your body rejects different meds so they have to keep trying until they find the one that works.. not saying that you drink or use drugs but. antidepressants wont work if you use drugs or alcohol

I did for awhile, but then my body got use to them, and they stopped working. The doctors kept wanting to increase the dose, so i just turned to cigarettes and it helped the stress.
