Yes I know tomcat means male anyway but I thought I would add the male part in as younger or less educated readers may not have known that ........jeeez. I'm just trying to make my question accessible to all.
No need to patronise me.

My very first cat I named " Popoki " - that literally means Cat in the Hawai'ian language.
It's pronounced : poh poh key

Well I was 7 when I named her. Have you considered calling Him something exotic in another language?

My present cat is named Archie, after a long dead cartoon character. Just coz when I got him, his coat was the deepest orange, just like Archie's orange hair.
Turns out that my cat is just as dumb as the cartoon character.

A nick name I've often called my cats, at times is " Fuzz Face "
would that sound good to you for your kitty? But then isn't Ziggy's cat named Fuzz or was it his doggie?

Cheers !!!

Uhmmm you could call him what all cats do best, which is make really nasty poopage. You could call him " Turd Knocker " or maybe even "Lil 'Schetter" or even "Pooopie Poooper"

We have a 10 week old male kitten called Doorbell. When we got him, the whole family wrote names on paper and when my 8 year old son's choice was pulled out of the hat, we were confused till he answered "Oops!! Guess I can't spell ADORABLE!!!!" True story! LOL Now we've shortened it to Dorby.

My cat now is named Mouse (because she has some mouse-like features). I used to have a cat named Aries (star named after the greek god of war), and a dog named Cassiopeia (a constellation). I love all of those names.

I have three cats. Our ginger tabby tom was already named Sandy when we took him in. Our British Blue shorthair is called Yogi Bear and our brown tabby tom is called Marbles as I knew I'd lost my Marbles when I took a third cat in!! Other cats I know - Bumble, Tulip, India, Fruitcake.
