it could be dehydration, or it could be a tension headache, score on a one to ten basis, one being the least, ten being the worst, the higher the score, the more likely it is it's a tension headache.

Are you saying that the medication you are taking (which has been increased) has stopped the headaches?
If you are worried and are still getting them, go see the doctor - perhaps you have migraines? I don't know how else you feel.
Or it could be that your anxiety was causing so much tension that you were getting tension headaches where all the muscles were so tight in your neck and over your head that it was causing pain.
Try some relaxation and perhaps a neck and shoulder massage or Indian Head Massage.

Sounds like a tension headache. Drink a few cups of hot or called coffee and some cola and chocolate. All have caffeine which will open the tight blood vessels in your brain and decrease your pain. Excedrin headache formula is Aspirin with caffeine.I experiece those headaches and that what wors. A dooctor told me of these treatments.

You dont say what medication has been increased, so it's not really for anyone here to answer. You need to see your doc if you are getting tightness in your head, although you say since your medication was increased that you haven't had it? So are you still having it or not?

I get this from time to time,it seems to be sometimes just on one side of my head,I put it down to neuralgia, but it often occurs when I am stressed.

It might be down to something as simple as dehydration.
