Surgery. That is the only treatment. They are not life threatening, so usually they are not removed.

Surgical removal of them if they are in a bad spot or making it hard for the dog to move or lay down or something like that most are just left alone.

Our vet said to leave them alone UNLESS they suddenly start growing rapidly, then to have them removed.

my dog had one and the vet said it was best to just leave it alone
