I am a practicing Muslims and for four years I have seen with my own eyes the lies the media shares with the public and the hate and lies the media's believers reassert on blogs, in churches, online, on television, and in homes. The biotry and hate the media
has expressed is so completely far from real Islam I began to wonder if some of the West loves to accelerate hate through unobjective and narrow minded reporting on world events with each day saying something about "Muslims." As a practicing and studying Muslim, the open lies the West delivers has made me see the accepting Christians differently then what I used to. I know not all Christians are this way, but I'm just being honest. you post hateful posts and then you say "follow Jesus." Then some of you go to AntiIslamic sites and ignore objective sites. America invades a country and you put the blame on the innocent people when they have problems. Why are some of you so hypocrtical? Almost like the media is your bible.

I wish I could say that you are wrong but your not. I am a Christian and have been appalled at how some are answering and even some of the questions that they are asking. This is not true Christianity. I am happy to hear that you have at least seen some who are not this way. The Bible tells us that not all who profess, possess. I think this sums it up.

I'm glad you make this point. I've seen propoganda from both sides. When you see "western" media, you're not seeing what "westerners" are actually thinking. Believe it or not, most "westerners" do not trust the "western" media. We are naturally skeptical. We don't hide the fact that almost 65% of Americans do NOT trust George Bush and his crew, and 3 out of 4 of us think the Iraq "war" has been over for quite some time, and that our troops should come home. We know George Bush stole the 2000 election, and we are mistrustful of the powers that be.

Then there's the OTHER side of the coin. When was the last time you saw Americans marching through the street burning the flags of Islamic countries chanting "DEATH TO SO-and-SO!!" Your bias is understandable, but PLEASE understand that most Christians do NOT hate Muslims. We just get annoyed when we see Islamic EXTREMISTS shouting "Allah akhbar!" while they are sniping their own brothers and sisters of Islam. And we also get very annoyed when Muslims come on here posing evangelical statements as questions. Here's a great idea. Worry about your OWN religion, and stop trying to suck people into Islam.

Peace!

you actually have a level, and that i agree wholeheartedly. they don't seem preaching the note of God. notwithstanding... allow them spew their hatred. they extremely do a lot more effective good than evil that way. i'm gay, and also you comprehend how Fred Phelps feels about gay human beings. Years in the past 20/20 did an exposee on them and that i watched it with my mom. She replaced into horrified!! I had basically come out to her and she or he replaced into coping with it. She talked about how hateful and disgusting those human beings were and suggested "i'm unlike them!" and extremely had a revelation about my gayness. i imagine many those who're on the fence about the topic matters the WBC protests will see them and turn any incorrect way because they don't prefer to be certain themselves as that hateful and bigoted. one ingredient should be glaring to a authentic looking human being, notwithstanding: they via no skill talk for God. that is neat the way God turns each and every thing to the best, huh?

I've never seen any anti muslim propaganda from the media. They generally don't speak about Islam as a religion, or if they do its to see how the Islamic faith is affected by terrorist activities. It sounds to me like you are expecting lies so are looking for them where they don't exist.

That's a great big chip you have on your shoulder. What took you so long to figure out that the entire news media is lying to us. I sometimes watch news from the middle east as well, its more funny than the comic strips.

I completely agree with you. For example, the media in the US never, or rarely for that matter reports on actual Islamic leaders who have condemned terrorist acts. Those reports are usually just a blurb in the paper.

America hates Muslims...what are you going to do

First it was slavery with black people-you said that would never happen again

Then you put your Japanese citizens in prisons-you said that would never happen again

Now your spying on muslims and stopping them at Airports for a full body search

i don't know, why do muslims believe in killing gays?

please do not criticise the west.. in a recent poll, over 56% of americans had no problems what so ever with muslims. an additional like 20% said that muslims are ok, and that they will still associate with them and such.

just like people stereotype gays, african americans, arabs, and muslims, people like you stereotype the west. welcome to life.
