They are ripe when they are golden or red all over -- no green and they smell peachy. Yes, you eat the skin. The peach will be juicy if it's fully ripe. I keep my in a closed brown paper bag for a day or so to ripen them.

You can tell when they are ripe when it is red on the top and mostly all around. DOn't expect it to be sweet all the time though. I personally don't eat the skin, but some of my friends do. it's not gonna kill you.

Peaches are ripe when it yeilds (is soft) to the touch. Yes you can eat the skin, just wash it first.

when some what soft & smell like u want to take a bite right then,yes u can eat the skin but wash in mild soap water,rise well then take the biggest bite u can,ENJOY,....Pearl g
