Dentists cleans the teath by scraping the tooth surfaces with a metal tool. This is how he removes plaque buildups. Then he polishes your teech with a polisher - it's like a toothpaste but he uses this rotating rubber thing to do it instead of a toothbrush. Think of it as a big stationary electric toothbrush. It doesn't hurt at all.

X-ray is not scary at all - it is like taking a photograph. Only with photograph we use regular light, with X-ray he uses different kind of light. You don't feel anything. For that procedure, he makes you wear heavy led apron (to preven X-rays from going to your chest) and he makes you bite on plastic thing so that pictures some out better. X-rays are not very good for you, that's why he protects your body with heavy apron.

LOL, you want me to X-ray my dentist ?

Your dentist cleans your teeth by a process abrassive-polishing cleaning.

He rubs an abrassive fluride paste on your teeth and this repairs enamel surface and makes your teeth shine.

they stick like a darning needle in between your teeth and below the gum line. more like a crochet hook than a darning needle. they put a heavily weighted thing on your chest and you have to bite on plastic things for the xrays.
