Can you burn some youtube videos with a cd writer and make it work right on a cd-r?

I want to burn vids off of youtube to a cd-r on my cd-writer and make them work with my dvd player or portable dvd player.

yea, right click on the video and see if there is a option to "save target as" if so, save to a file and use a cd copier to burn it haha
