well it seems that i've had my heart broken more than average. The thing is I think I know better than to believe in true love..... and yet I still have a bit of hope that one day Some guy will prove me wrong. That not all guys are alike and one will actually love me for who i am and not dump me for a prettier face........ is it wrong to hold on to this kind of hope?

Hell no you are not wrong at all. Girl, only if you knew. I was with a man for 4 years who treated me so bad and cheating on me was a natural rutine. He caused fights between my family and I, verbally abused me, made me feel obligated to do EVERYTHING that HE wanted me to do....and on top of this, other aspects of my life had caused me to have trusting issues too...like being betrayed by best friends (bad) and so on....and I still met someone that is good to me...honest, faithful and so much more.....he is good to my son everything. We are very close but although things are so great between the two of us, I am still working on my trusting issue for him. Ofcourse people who have been through alot are scared to trust but its not healthy living with ''what if's'' so after being with him for a while, I slowly began to let my guard down....things are fine and you will meet somebody and everything will be okay trust me :) just do not rush it, when its meant to happen, it'll happen.

What have we got without hope? If you let go of that hope you'll become bitter. My wife believes that i'll leave her for someone else because of past experiences with men. But, when I found her, I was amazed by her strength, compacity to love and her sexual appetite. The point is that there is someone out there who will be amazed with you. So hold on to your hope and I believe that someone very special will walk into your life sooner than you think. Just try not to be so paranoid and give him a chance.

No it is not wrong. I definitly feel the same way. I have had so many bad relationships and at times I just want to give up completely. But I know that there is a guy out there who is going to treat me right and not put me through so much pain. Dont give up hope.

Never Give Up Quick story- guy meets girl they date they move on with life years later guy meets same girl again falls deeply in love they get married baby coming she leaves him for her ex-girlfriend Yes she leaves him for her Ex-girlfriend guy snaps let's her have everything she wants (baby & for him to go away) after some time and alot of beer the guy is still looking for true love when it finds him so I say NEVER GIVE UP

never give up hope on true love. not all guy's are unfeeling jerks. ttrue love usualy comes when you least expect it. and it is most often closer than you think.

No...but dont give away your heart too soon. sounds like your attracted to very shallow boys/men. try not looking and just enjoying the activities that you injoy and he will be there.
