absolutly not. I would have asked her to pay myself. If she says no get rid of her.

Well if your asking her out you should pay! However, there is nothing wrong with her contributing and taking you out too!
I think that it depends on who and why your dating! Are you intending or looking for a serious relationship? The reason that would matter is can you financial afford a wife and kids and what are your views of your wife working when the kids are babys?
When you date someone there any many ways that a woman can be giving and thoughtful as well as men. I think you should not keep tabs but make sure she is treating you right! You can usually get to see this within a few dates! Not all women are gold diggers and there is nothing wrong either with a man being romantic and thoughtful and parting with a little cash to treat his woman, I think the question is will she also treat you like your worth the same!

Doesnt bother me, my bloke and I often split the bill, he only pays the lot if its a special occasion and he wants to treat me
