I've got no gold to dig

Hi,

I have been with several gold diggers, and I will answer all your questions, but first a little background. I have a degree from Harvard and work as a VP at a Fortune 500 company. I am not "rich", but I am well off. I am early 30's, single, and not especially attractive so I have a little trouble meeting girls.

Most of the golddiggers have come as referrals or blind dates through friends. I am guessing they hear the story about me, and want to meet me. For the most part, I can pick up on it pretty quickly. I mean when a very attractive, aspiring actress is hanging on my every word I know something is up. I typically don't look for a follow-up date.

A few of the more sophisticated gold diggers, are less into me. They seem to be highly intelligent, and enjoy talking about the same topics or change the topic to current events from China's economic policy or some other obscure boring topic that I only bring up to gauge their reaction.

As far as what it was like, it was very saddening. I got close to two of the girls and developped feelings for each of them. Once I figured out they were interested in me for my money, I felt very sad and betrayed. The experience made me much more cautious and guarded when I date some one new.

I am still single, but I have had several very good experiences too. The good memories from the girls who cared about me, really make up for all the pain caused by the others so in all it is just part of life.

Just my two cents,

Leo

I have!

I was friends with this guy and we were both setting up a huge event for our community. The guy was already married. We were just good friends, nothing more.

I became homeless during this time, and everyone started saying that I was hustling people for money. I had a job, so there was no need to bum people for money.

I do remember that the guy's family offered me help (like a place to stay until I could find a shelter to go to), and I took it. This was the first time I was homeless and it was a scarey thing.

Anyways, the whole friendship fell apart because the guy was being called "sugar daddy".

I've gone on with my life since then, so I don't know what happened to him.

Nope. You've got to have gold to get a gold digger to dig your gold, and I'm ever so poor.

Legalised identity theft and forgery is a better way of looking at it. Seems the laws mean nothing when she is your "girlfriend" and left you with thousands in debt on joint credit you never knew you had.
