actually if its your first dog you made a very bad choice to get a pit breed. they are very high maintenance and have lots of energy. they are not apartment dogs even full grown. your babe is probably telling you she/he needs more excercise. try getting her/him bongo balls with little treats inside and giving her/ him lots of excercise. liuke walks or a doggy park

Well I have 2 boxers....and I think it is safe to say....they are gonna chew. However, the more attention they get the less they chew....They do really enjoy Kong's? I think that is what they are called....and tire toys. Cows hooves tend to work well also...we recently built a picnic table in our back yard, and wood is the female's favorite chew toy..but the cows hooves have kept her outta trouble thus far. Hope this helps!!

u can go to pet storws (such as petco) and buy this stuff called bitter apple. its an herbal spray thats tastes awful and tart. just spray it on the stuff they r chewing and they wont anymore because they think it will taste bad. my dog had a chewing problem. he ate a roll of masking tape and my dads power tools! we used it and we have no rpblem anymore!

get rawhides. My dog was chewing stuff, and i bought some of those and now he eats those. especially if you get the flavored ones.
even though i hate kenneling dogs, you might want to look into getting one for when you leave during the day. or if you have a yard, try leaving it outside when you are gone. (test it first by only leaving for a short time to see how the dog reacts)
