Love is more than an emotion, its actions. love is to be kind, to put others 1st, to be forgiving, patient, loyal,to make others happy, and to love yourself too.

real love can exist between family members, friends, co-workers etc... if you specifically mean among lovers, I would describe it as a feeling that you feel for someone that enables you to honestly tell that person, along with the entire human population that you would die for them and feel the worst pain possible for them.... They're your ''other half'' they complete you...your strengths are their weaknesses and your weaknesses are their strengths, perfect....its a feeling you get when you look into that person's eyes...all knowledge of physical existence disappears because your focus is on whats behind their eyes which is something you can see but not physically...its feeling ''peaceful'' when you are in eachother's presense...true love makes you see your spouse as being the best looking person on earth (just because they're them, and you prefer to wake up to THEIR face every morning) although they may not be to the rest of the world. When your in ''true'' love, the fact alone, that you can't express it through words to that person, can make you cry...just the mere fact of it. So much to say not enough time or room and I talked enough sorry LOL
well there ya go...my idea of it :)

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. Love is not irritable, and keeps no record of when it has been wronged. It is never glad about injustice but rejoices when truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

Real love is God. It's something that can't really be explained, but when it's received you know it and you want the world to know too. It's unconditional and doesn't care who you are or what you've done in your life.

Judge love by its duration. The key to true love is selflessness.

Dharma and Yoga will help you towards selflessness.

Love comes first in a marital relationship. Next is wisdom. The first wisdom is spiritual wisdom. Material wisdom is always second to spiritual wisdom.

Real love is when you find that special person who compliments you in such a way that you want to be with them forever.
