Thanks for the answers. First one cute.

Have already been through several sessions of anti-biotics and now have a negative test result. Thank god, was very sick but the reason for the question was to avoid the contamination again. Thanks again. Peace.

Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is a bacterium normally found in the gastric mucosa (stomach) of humans and other mammals. It's transmitted through contaminated food and by person-to-person contact.

Helicobacter pylori is a species of spiral or straight gram-negative bacteria with multiple sheathed flagella found in the gastric mucosa of humans and other animals and is associated with gastric and peptic ulcers as well as gastric cancers. Scientists suspect that H. pylori infection may be contagious, because the infection seems to run in families and is more common where people live in crowded or unsanitary conditions. Although research suggests that infection is passed from person to person, exactly how this happens isn't really known.

Helicobacter Pylori can be transmitted from one family member to another.
Your chances of having H. Pylori in your lifetime are the same as your age
For example: age 39=a 39% chance that you will have or have had H.Pylori
H Pylori can be asymptomatic or it can cause stomach ulcers, even and rarely, cancer.
There is a recent study which said that eating a lot of broccoli will get rid of the H. Pylori.
Personally, I would rather have H.Pylori than have to eat broccoli.

Are you talking about Human Paploma Virus or HPV? If you are then it can be transmitted sexually. Oddly enough, 70% of the woman currently carry this virus. They are not aware of it, since their body fights it pretty adequately. It only becomes a problem when your body does not fight the virus (usually do to having the same partner and having unprotected sex). A pap smear will tell. In the early stages, you can treat it cryonicly (freezing it off), next stage would be surgically. This is the #1 cause of cervical cancer. WARNING!!!! If you have the same partner, it is important that he wear a condon, otherwise he will just shoot a huge viral load of the virus into you every time he ejactulates. It will typically take 60-90 days for your body to fight this virus.

i don't think it is something that is transmittable. you have to have a blood test to detect it. if you have it you will be on a very heavy course of antibiotics. it is viral not bacterial.
