You should just be honest and tell him you only like him as a friend. Either way you're going to hurt his feelings because he wants you and you don't want him. It's just a matter of how you tell him. Tell him that he's too old for you and you want someone more your age because you'll have more in common with that person. If he doesn't understand after you say that then I don't know what else you could tell him. The truth is always the best choice.

just be honest and everything will go fine. you shouldn't be dating someone that is 3 years older than you. first finish school and then think about guys.
