Matthew 19:21-24 says how it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter the kingdom. Now that does not mean that youshould become financially depleted or even donate your finances to the point of you living just above the line of poverty, but the majority of the Republicans (yes majority) have a "I have mine, you other people need to stop begging and get yours" type attitude. Case in point: the teach a man to fish theory. A Republican will show a man how to fish, and tell him "now, you go and get the supplies you need to do this yourself" where as a Democrat will give them the supplies, fish with them, and then walk away to let them do for themselves. I think the second approach is the best, and it's not a hand out but more of a true leveling of the playing field. Do you agree or disagree that is it impossible to be a Republican and a Christian? I (of course) don't think you can.

If Religion is not a political issue and whether you are Dem / Rep is irrelevant, then please comment on the strong ties each always affiliates itself with "being christian" esp at a time of re-election or war?

It is possible.
Republicans don't care for most social programs that benefit the poor. They want massive tax cuts for the rich, and massive national debts.
PS-Jesus wouldn't be a Republican.

Wow, you are a believer yet you sterotype so efficiently that it is sickening. How do you know what the majority of Republicans would do? This is the general theory of Republicans. They allow everyone the chance to succeed, but they don't just throw it at them. The Republicans theory is to give the opportunity but not force it upon them. The Democrats philosophy of giving the supplies, what do you mean? Money? Give money to poor people and 9 times out of 10, they will be begging for more because they spent it on things that shouldn't be spent on. Now, if the poor person(people) is trying to succeed, yes, then money will probably used correctly, but it usually is not. Democrats generally think that if you throw money at someone, everything will be good, and it will work out.
Think about it this way. Let's a major company, is making a lot of money, they decide to not donate it to a cause but instead decide to expand, and thus create more jobs in the process. By being greedy in this sense, more jobs are opening up and thus less unemployment and a better economy. That is what your sterotypical republican does more often than not. Donating to foundations does not always help, at all. But if you make a person work for their money rather than give it to them, chances are, they are not going to waste it.
Your Democrat thing is really messed up. Don't you mean, they will provide the supplies, as long as the news team is getting it on video, help with them, again with the news team with them, and then let them go, and then not care for them ever again? I know that may be a little ruder, but much closer to the truth than what you have said. Please, stop watching CNN, and at least try to listen to some republican philosophies so that you can understand what they really stand for.
EDIT: Thanks for the bad rating, even though i was honest, hahaha, funny, you are too funny

I am a Democrat and a Christian. I have been told by many Republicans that i can not be a Christian. My Pastor who Is a Republican told me as Long as I gave my sins to Jesus and have him in my Heart. and obey Him. I am a Christian.
I will not question anyone's Faith In God. I do not Judge anyone. that Is not my place. My Job is to be the best Christian I can be. nothing more. Peace & God Bless

I disagree - I am Republican and Christian. There are arguments for Democrats being Christian also.
You can't judge all by a few or a few by all.

I'm a Christian and a Democrat, but it doesn't really matter what political system you subscribe to. As long as you believe that Jesus died for your sins and accept Him into your heart, you are a Christian.

Religion is not a political issue...
And you are being enormously biased and generalizing about people you have very little personal knowledge of.

Last time I checked, there are more Democrat millionaires then there are Republican millionaires. The analogy falls flat.
