I am 48 years of age, and divorced, I have met a lovely lady that lives in France....I sold everything to live with her for 3 years, managed to find work for 16 months, for a very low wage, but hoped things would get better...however they didn,t..
So after many arguments I decided to leave and return to the UK, however I miss the lady in question...
The reason I can,t get on was my inability fo not learning the language...
So the question do I go back, do I get over it, and find another lady, or be a nobby no mates and live alone....my other problem is I love dark skin, and she was from Sri Lanka, and Had everything I wanted....Or am I expecting to much..
Please help, as been alone isn,t good either, but realise Frace isn,t goo for me either..............

For her to come her seems the perfect solution, however she has a 13 year old daughter, and she has to see her Dad and for this reason has to live in France....so the question is impossible......the Ironic part is I have a house thats paid for, and she would want for nothing

Suggest she comes and lives with you in UK for 3 years so then you've both made a compromise and after that you can decide where to live more fairly. If she won't even consider this suggestion you'd maybe question her commitment to you?

I know how it feels, i got so bad at times, i was beginning to think i was living in terminal 1 at London Heathrow.
It was becoming a standard joke.
When you have been away from the UK for so long its hard to adapt again.
If you miss her so much then try again, good luck.

well if france isnt good 4 you then dont go back.
you need time to get over the split
get a new job and you will make new friends and meet new people.

dear sir;its not the french you are interessted to its the person you love go for it ,its easy to learn french get your self a dictionnary .dont give up hope its nice to be loved remember in your age opportinities are less good luck
