I bought a print of Miss Willoughby by George Romney at a garage sale and would like to know if it is real or a reprint. What is the best and easiest way to do that?

Take it to a museum or art gallery where someone knowledgeable can look at it and advise you. I'd say it's very unlikely you came across an original painting by Romney in a garage sale. Prints are widely available. Check this site. http://www.allposters.com/-sp/Miss-Willoughby-Posters_i376288_.htm

All prints are signed and numbered by the artist and should have a number of which print it is. Check with an auction house like Christie's for autentication, you can do it on line through their website.
good luck
