Try opening the battery door and pressing the battery down,and see if this makes the camera work.Sometimes the dimensions of the battery are too small to give reliable contact, Solution pack out with a small piece of cardboard.Works on my EOS

Try putting the batteries in something else and if they dont work in it then the batteries must be dead or just got to hot and want work.So just try some new batteries if you need to.

what are the batteries being put into. Most likely the metal points in the battery slot may be corroded or deattached from the circiut board.

Faulty battery maybe, so try another one. Battery connectors dirty or bend, check em carefully so as not to cause damage. Or, fault with the power circuits so take it to a repairer.

bet the batteries are flat, take it to the hospital radio station in glasgow bet the have some spare batteries

Are they rechargable? if not use rechargable, normal batteries arnt strong enough to run a digi cam

Dunno what you're trying to make work but I had a camera that only worked with Duracell batteries not the cheap ones, a very snobbish camera
