This is sad news! I've just discovered your questions, and found them both fun and thought provoking! They really make me think, and sometimes my initial response changes as I read other people's opinions. I think that shows what a great question and answer process you instigate. So brief though it has been, I'm pleased to have discovered you before you go. All the best. And to answer your question - hypocrisy would make me lose respect for someone. I don't think much of people who pretend to be something they're not, or who judge people for doing things they themselves do. And Kimberley, I wish you all the best.

"Hi Kimberly.;)
I'm kinda into middle age. Thank G-d i've worked out a lot of problems in all my time.
I suppose that anyone, who demonstrates weaknesses in human character that I have overcome in my past, will be hard-pressed to gain much of my respect. Of course, I end up feeling sorry for 'em. I, sometimes, offer a hand, but many do not realize offers of friendship because they, sometimes, demonstrate in their writing, that they "feel" I'm offering something else."

If they aren't who I thought they were, and if they lie to me.

Kimberly, I really hope this isn't going to be your last question. From reading many of your answers, and answering several of your questions, I can tell that you are a very caring, kind, and intelligent person. You are a wonderful addition to this site, and if you do decide to leave, you will be greatly missed.

I hope that you will change your mind, and that I will continue to see new questions and answers from you. I wish you nothing but the best, and hope that you will change your mind.

Best wishes to you, always! :)

Professing to be my life-long friend and then turning around and stab me in the back!

Say one thing to my face as truth( the way they perceive it), then deliberately lie about me to others.
