Anyone think Airport Screening should be even stricter?

I think it could be stricter. I know its inconvenient but I have no problem with everyone being x-rayed. I also think they should get rid of carry on baggage all together, a purse or small briefcase, god forbid people shouldn't be allowed to have their laptops......Yes I know there is the seperation issue with our personal items, the fear of luggage being lost etc, but for securities sake.....don't you think it would be safer, just screening people, purses and briefcases?

YES! it's still way to lax in my opinion. we all need to watch so we can try and help as well, at least that's the way I feel.
Security if more important than inconvience, I can wait a little longer if it's going to make us safer:)

It just depends on how much freedom you want to give up for security. So be careful, if it gets too invasive - what freedoms are we protecting?

I think the heightened security sense we've really gotten serious about terrorism is good where it is, with the possibility of getting a tad stricter.

It bothers me that the luggage placed in the luggage storage bin is rarely checked. A suicide bomber could easily put a timed bomb in his luggage. The Israelis check every single bag that goes on their planes and they have never had a problem. We should do the same.

No matter how strict the screening is, terrrorists are going to find a way. It is sad, but true. I guess it would still be good to make the screening more strict, but i don't know how muh that's really going to help. I guess it's worth a try...

nooo i've had things stolen be4 and this year i had 2 put my videocamera..etc. w/the rest of my things... its a miracle it arrived in 1 piece!!!!!!
