My girlfriend from college broke up with me at the start of the summer and I went my own way and found a new girl from home that I'm with now. Tomorrow I go back to school and my ex called me and was asking me about things and I told her how I'm seeing someone and she's distraught cause she thought maybe when we went back to school things would like be better for us. I don't know what to tell her, I mean I still have feelings for her but I do for the new girl too and I feel like I owe it to myself to try it with her. What do I do?

That's easy don't tell her anything. Work both of them. You should have 4-5 "friends" at any given time

Your gf from the year before has NO right to expect you to just start up where you left off when school was done. She wanted to be free during the summer to fool around and not feel quilty. If she truely wants you as a bf, she would of continued to do so no matter what. Her wanting you is conditional. Not good. Tell her that you moved on and that she never should of broken up with you for the summer. Oh well. Be very firm with her, don't let her claims of still wanting to be with you get to you. Instead, wonder how many guys she has on the line back home from her summer flings.

Stick with the new gf, until there is reason to do otherwise.

During your life time you will have people who you love but you can't be with because of how they are and what they do. Chalk it up to experience. Then there is a chance she might grow up and mature and if you want her then......go for it. Otherwise let her go.

Your ex broke up with you.She lost her chance, atleast unless you feel like giving her another, but I probably wouldn't trust it. It sounds like she broke up with you at the beginning of the summer to go have fun, and now that school is starting back she doesn't want to be alone. I would stay with the current girl.

Who are your feelings stronger for your ex or the new one? Take some time off from both of them and sort things out in your head and heart and when you decide be strong enough to tell who ever the truth and how you feel. GOOD LUCK WITH LOVE

Dud she tried to play you and played herself. Here was her plan break it off with you so she can see other guys during summer if nothing comes of it she feels your a dummy and would take her back. You have no use for her anymore tell her you have moved on and so should she!

Tell your ex to find a new man and that you were not going to spend your summer waiting for her when she broke up with you.

Just be straight with her. She broke up with you, you moved on and that's the whole story. Don't let her make you feel guilty for moving on when she's the one who broke up with you in the first place.

Be honest with her. Don't string her along with false hope or it will just hurt more. Just be up front with her. But do it in a kind way, don't be rude or hurtful. Good Luck!
