I mean, it's dwindled down to just texts, but I love our lovemaking and we are so good at it, why waste it and why risk having sex with someone else? I don't know her feelings about it though.

ah, age old question..well, your feelings sound natural, you have a connection with this woman, comfort level, sexually it makes sense to want to be with her. here is the potential problem: it distracts you from moving on, both letting go and finding others you may be more compatible with in the future when you're ready for that. also, sex with an old lover can keep either of you or both of you attached, and usually, if you broke up, there was a healthy reason for the decision. i can feel your dilemma, remember, choices have consequences, sometimes you gotta look at the bigger picture, as hard as that can be. good luck!

I've just experienced this situation, we were 2gether 4 a year - great sex, we broke up 4 various reasons, mostly 2 HUGE lies/secrets, we remained just friends, she got w/ another guy, 3 months later they broke up - he moved away & we started a sexual friends w/ benefits relationship, he came back 5 mo.'s later & tried 2 get back w/ her while we continued 2 have sex, after 2 mo.'s of that she got back w/ him we stopped, now 4 mo.'s later we r still friends (no sex still ) & they have been at each other's throats 4 the past month, Do u really want all that ?

Talk to her about it and see how she feels. But eventually having the "benefits" without the relationship may cause problems for you too. Good Luck!

So in other words you just want to use her for sex?

Did I get that right?

Which woman in her right mind would accept something like that? I know, I would not!!

Well I would talk to her about it first, but I see nothing wrong with it if you both feel the same way.

Ha, ha. It sounds like you want your cake and eat it too.

Hey if she's dumb enough to go for it, yeah. The only thing is you got to accept the consequences.
