One can of water makes it too runny and taste even worse than it already does. Try just 1/4 cup of water. Works much better.

I like to eat the soup without the can of water added when I am sick. Makes me feel a lot better than when I do add the water. I only eat it when I am feeling to sick to actually make Chicken soup from scratch.

When I eat it, which is seldom because of the high sodium content, I add 1/2 can water. It seems hardier. Try boiling and mashing a couple potatoes, mix one can soup & 1/2 cup milk. Mash and blend. Makes mashed potatoes with a zing.

It calls for a can of water, but I usually just use about 3 1/4's of water because I think it makes it too watery. You could eat it without adding the water but it is too thick as well as too salty.

it is condensed, meaning the water has been extracted from it, you really should add at least half the water back in, all your getting without the water is the fats, oils and salt
