I baby should not be eating bananas at 4 months old! It can really mess up their digestive system. Just wait till you have a fussy baby who can't poop then you will know that wasn't a smart idea!

Try the teether style feeders they are made by the 1st years I believe and hold the fruit in a little mesh so the baby won't choke on it, banana is good.

health professionals are now saying that its best not to give a baby food until the age of 6 months. This is because their intestines aint developed enough and CAN cause problems in later life. However, they also say that if the baby is constantly wanting more after milk, it is ok to give just baby rice and milk, nothing more.

Bananas should be fine. They are very soft and shouldn't hurt a 4 month old. As long as you don't see it harming them, it should be fine :-)

i thought babies can't eat anything solid until the age of six months. i prefer waiting till then.
