I often forget the most important things. I lost many things and don't remember where I kept them last. I try hard but cannot remember the important figures, names, numbers, related to my daily work and daily schedules. I feel that I am losing memory. Is it so? I also go to toilets frequently when am sitting in an Air conditioned room. Does it have something to do with Diabetes or memory. I am underweight for my age(23) and height(6 ft.) Is this some kind of serious problem? It has started affecting my life and work. I also don't have a good concentration. After a discussion, I often feel as if I have not heard the most important things of the discussion, at all. Why is my concentration and memory so weak? Is this a serious condition? How should I cope with it?

It could be a very simple thing or you may have a disorder....I am no doctor, but some of the symptoms you are describing can be found in ADD or ADHD sufferers and there is medication to treat it. ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) is rather quite common, and a lot of young people years ago were thought to be "slow" or "hyperactive", and their disorder was never picked up, not that they knew much about it then. They do now, and it is treatable. But go see your Doctor, get a professional in the field to see if you do have a particular treatable disorder, dont just rely on peoples opinions.

It certainly is worrying you enough to post a question on here, so my best advice is to go to your doctor and get it sorted out.

I think you should go see your doctor. You're too young to have memory loss already. Is there something bothering you ?
Maybe you're not aware of it but there is something worrying you and keeps you from focusing on your work.
I know it sounds scary but try not to panic ok.
I think it's due to some stress and anxiety and sometimes some people don't know it. And the more you'll try to focus on a discussion the more you might miss about it. Try taking it easy and talk to some people you trust about it.
A doctor would know what you might suffer from, don't stay that way ok, you're too young for that, there is a solution, go find it !
Good luck !

Sometimes short-term memory loss and inability to concentrate or retain information is a result of stress or poor overall health. But it can be caused by other conditions as well. You are very young to be experiencing this. I strongly suggest you schedule a complete physical exam for the first available opening. In all likelihood your health care provider will be able to get to the bottom of this. My best to you.

You need to seek medical help right away. If that is diabetes or any other condition, you should not waste any time or let it get to a point where it will become difficult to cure.
