I have a form of depression and I need help figuring it out. I am sometimes paranoid that people are talking about me all the time, I feel like everything is my fault. I have sudden mood changes all the time, and I feel like no one likes me and no one can be trusted. I hate the way I look even though people tell me I am beautiful its like no matter what I do....I can never be happy with myself. What kind of depression does this sound like and what kind of medication do you think will help? I took a depression medicine called Wellbutrin for 4 years and my senior year of high school the medicine depressed me so bad that I overdoes and had a seizure. I want to take medication to help with this depression, but I don't want to feel like a robot and in turn end up doing what I did again. Any advice??

I tried welbutrin but only to help me stop smoking and it made me not care about much of anything. I feel it even helped me end my marriage. It made me feel like so what so they don't like me who cares. Which is good to a point. But only to a point.

I think your problems are a little deeper then you think. You should not be using an Med Doctor to work on this. You really need to be seeing a counselor that specializes in child hood trauma, I feel you was told how bad you was and it was programed in your mind. This happens the same in reverse when you are over applauded for doing good when you are only doing average.

You have noticed a problem and this is a good sign and now you need to take the next step and get reprogramed. You are not bad and there is nothing wrong with you only you think there is something wrong. And yes I hate to say it but that does make something wrong with you.

Dude everybody feels like that - look my dog AND my neighbor are watching me right now, and people DO gossip like idiots. You just feel sorry for yourself more than the rest of us. It isn't your fault cause that's what society is doing to you. You just need to learn to think for yourself and not actually care so much about what other people think ... (without making a big deal about telling the whole world that you don't care what they think)

yeah an get used to people talking about you. Everyone has to deal with that.

YOU CANNOT BE DIAGNOSED ONLINE. YOU CAN GET A DIAGNOSIS ONLY FROM A LICENSED PHYSICIAN AND ONLY AFTER BEING SEEN IN PERSON.

Please, please see a psychiatrist about this. You cannot get the answers or help you need here or anywhere else outside of a physician's office. Not from a friend, not from a website, not at Yahoo! Answers.

Only a psychologist shouldl diagnose you. Because nobody else really knows anything about mental illness/disorders. My guess is that you have more than one problem. I wouldn't expect to use a drug as a cure all.

Paranoid personality disorder with bipolar. Try some Seroquel or Zyprexa, newer medications with better results and less side effects than the old ones. Personally though, you need to talk to a professional psychiatrist to have him diagnose you. Good luck!

You're bi-polar. And you need professional help. Are nuts for even asking for a dx on YA!
