I changed from Xanax to Xanax XR does the XR need time to build up in your system before ou get ful effect?

I have tried twice to switch over to Xanax XR and it does not work as effectively for me as regular Xanax. It is such a prolonged slow release that you never seem to get any anxiety relief.

XR i belive is pretty much a slower release form of xanax there for instead of only lasting a certain time it can last you the whole day thats about it, and with any anti-depressant you atelast need 1-2 weeks before the medication accually starts takeing effect
