The Stevia plant originates in the rainforests of Paraguay. However you can get them just about anywhere now.

The link below is a great web site and they sell all sorts of Stevia products including the plants.

Stevia is indiginous to Australia. If it grows in Puerto Rico, I don't know about it...but then there is a lot I don't know.
