Yes. Walnuts and bananas are a good combination and this is a good way to get the kids to eat them.

I like walnuts in my banana bread....but a friend of mine puts chocolate chips in her's and it's really good.

I use walnuts and pecans. The flavors are great together. I love banana bread any way you make it.

I prefer pecans to walnuts, but any kind of nuts are good (unless someone's got allergies).

Next time you bake bread (of any kind) with nuts in it, shake the nuts in a small baggie with a tablespoon of flour, then add the nuts to the batter. The nuts won't all sink to the bottom.

I do put it in my banana bread when I make it unless I am making it for somebody who is allergic. I also use a little cinnamon and nutmeg....It gives off a yummy taste it gives a little of a harvest taste....

Yes, it is wonderful. If you are not allergic to nuts. 1/2 - 1 cup nuts are a good measure. Also, there are ground nut powders that are fabulous. Add 1 cup to batter.

my mom does now b/c i never used to like the mas a child. it depends if ur making it 4 kids or adults. i know 4 a fact that most kids hate nuts in everythin! but some have allergies. but adults normally luv em

IT depend who i am making it for. If my sister is coming I leave the nuts out becasue she is allergic. If for myself yes for sure. If for my Mom I use pecans because they are her favourite.
