Most older dogs will welcome a new puppy..Just be careful to give the older dogs plenty of attention..I have never had ANY problems with the older dogs..

Try www.petplace.com. this is a really good website with breed info, training tips and also a 'Puppy School', which is an interactive quiz type exercise where you answer questions, and there is a tips sheet to print off at the end.
A word of warning- the site is American and so prices are in dollars, and some drug and medicine names are different to their UK names. Also, most of the Kennel Club recognised breeds refer only to US-recognised breeds, and so you need to check if you wanted later to enter dog shows.
But the best thing to do if the dog is a puppy is to gradually introduce the puppy to the dog. Firstly, keep the puppy isolated, then bring the dog gradually under supervision, then they should be OK.

if you already have 2 dogs then don't you look after them now? why would you need to research how to care for another one?
As for puppy training any good vets will have puppy classes or if not will know of somewhere that does them.

What kind of dogs do you have, male or female, are they neutered or spayed, your dogs personality? Dogs are like people in that they are individuals. How are the dogs with others now? Really not enough info.

your current dog may get jealous, and check out the american kennel club website, and once you choose a breed find a website about that breed, also you can go to your local library and check out the books on different breeds and narrow them down to one or two, then check out the more specific books on those breeds.
