Less than an hour. It's just a matter of coordination and getting the car's "timing" - the right time when you let go of the clutch and you step on the gas that the engine responds. Don't be scared. Go on an open parking lot and practice. That's the only way you will learn.

It didn't take me too long, I first practiced in a big, empty parking lot to get the feel of it. With about an hour of practice, you should have the generally idea of how it all works. Getting into traffic is a different story though, because you have to get the concern of killing the engine out of your system. So it's less of actually learning how to operate the clutch, and more of getting the jitters out. I'd give the whole thing about a week before you're really getting it down.

It took me a week. Once you learn to drive in an big vacant parking lot then you have to get over the fear of killing the engine in traffic and get use to the acceleration being faster than an automatic.

10 minutes however people overthink it and think more of the action than just doing it. Very simple. May sound hard if you ask a 100 people how and you get a million answers on how to release the clutch.

It didn't even take a day. Had learned on a truck that had a worn clutch. Made it easier I think.
