We don't know if Jesus had a middle name or not, but in his language, his name is spelled Yeshua. His buddies probably called him Yeshie for short.

like someone else on here said, Jesus wasn't his real name. Jesus is actually an English version of a Greek version of his real name, which would have been something like Yehoshua, or Yeshua. Yeshua was probably his nickname, since Yehoshua is the longer version of his name--which is otherwise known in English as Joshua. He could have had other nicknames, like Yossi or Yoshi, but most likely once he got older, and more respected, he would have been referred to by his title of "rabbi, kind of like when you call a medical doctor or college professor 'doctor'.
and like someone else said, they also didn't have middle names. it just wasn't something they did. the disciples who seem to were because of identifying phrases, like 'son of so-and-so" or "from this town" or 'part of this religious and/or political party'.
I've never heard of him being called Essa before. I was a Biblical studies major in college, with a concentration in Old Testament and Hebrew. we learned stuff like that.

I have heard people call Him Jesus H. Christ and It was my natural assumption that it had to be HarleyDavidson. Yes I am sure He has one and as soon as He gives me one He will have another, that He allows me to use temporarly. I think the ones in heaven have the same sound but operate on mind over matter. that is why all little kids make motor noises with their mouth. When you get in heaven it will be Harley noises. Also the atomic structure will be of the spiritual nature so you can make them any size you want as you tool around the Planets.
Why Not?

Jesus wasnt english therefore his name wasnt Jesus.. Actually it was hebrew or whatever language was his at the time. His name didnt have a J.. only english people threw that in for some reason. His name was Essa.. and tradition of the middle east, the middle name of all children, whether boys or girls. take their fathers first name.. So since Essa didnt have a true father. He would be called Essa (bin) Mariam .. for ex... if a boy in the middle east is Ali.. and his father is Ahmed Fahad (whatever) the son will be Ali (bin) Ahmed Fahad.. bin=son of... if its a girl. .she will be ex: Sarah (bint) Ahmed Fahad.. bint=daugher of .. Since I dont know Mariam's (Mary in hebrew/arabic) last name.. he would be Essa bin Mariam (insert last name here).. get it?

I'm pretty sure he did and I think it started with an H.
Evidently southern Baptists know it, because I have heard them exclaiming Jesus H. Christ on several occasions.

His middle name was Ernie; this got left out of the Greek translation of the Aramaic gospels because it made him sound like a WASP. Since the Hebrew version of Jesus is Yeshuah (Joshua), they probably called him "George".
