I have a swollen lymph node on the right side of my neck. It doesn't hurt at all, and I have no other symptoms. What could it be?

a swelling in the neck can mean a lot more than just a lymph node. Do see a doctor for him/her to comment if and how should it be evaluated, feel free to email me with any questions

believe it or not, check your feet. if you have an infection in your lower body, it can travel up to your neck and under your arm to the lymph nodes there. Something like a splinter or an ingrown toenail, even.

There is an infection somewhere in your body that your body is trying to fight. The swollen lumph node is a clue for you to check it out. Make an appt. with your Dr & let him make a diagnosis. Don't mess around with your good health.'

It could be the very early symptom of a cold, or even strep- which has been sweeping up this summer. Take lots of vitamin-c, citrus fruit, and stay hydrated. Hope you're ok!
