hehe, seems a little like the child who punches and kicks the air and says "im just going to do this, and if you get in my way, its not my fault"
im just going to cause this earthquake, and if it causes a tidalwave and the water kills hundreds of thousands its not my fault
*chuckles*

The Creator of the Universe never has any regrets. Regrets are left to mankind only.
A flood would have to cover the earth again for God to destroy the earth by a flood. It hasn't come close to that. We do have floods and all sorts of storms, but nothing near the flood that covered the earth.
I believe maps will eventually need to be redrawn to comply with the changing coast lines.
Mother Nature itself is in sin because of free will. The wrath of nature is obvious. And it doens't care what nation or people it takes.
And the sin's of mankind are compounding.
Thus, more sickness, wars, wild weather.
God is a perfect and loveing God.....it is by giving us free will that has messed up the Garden of Eden (aka perfect harmony between God & Creation)
Things might seem bad now, but the end times will be worse.

The next time, he will use fire.
2 Peter 3:10, "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up."

No. I tell lies to my shoppers each time i bypass to artwork, infront of my colleagues and with the understanding and approval of my boss. in case you disapprove then you definitely tell me the thank you to calm an 80 4 365 days previous widow who's hysterical approximately getting domicile through fact she had a splash one the former day and her husband does not understand the thank you to safeguard it. My reaction to her is that she is staying with us to get better, she should not be any stable to the toddler if she is going domicile and collapses and that i've got sent a nurse to help her husband.

I doubt it. But have you read the Book of Revelation? Man I'll hate to be around then. God won't destroy the earth by a flood but by a lot of things.

Would that actually have been possible? To actually flood the whole planet in 40 days and 40 nights?

The answer to your question is in Second Peter chapter 3 and or 4.
If you don't have a bible check on the internet for Bible on line, and input 2 Peter 3 (or 2,3,4)

How can God have regrets when He already exists in all times and places, and therefore knows all the outcomes of everything?

God realizes that whatever he'd do to make humans walk in his will, they won't. So, he says I'm going to just leave choose what they want. He won't mercy for the world in the last day. He put life and death, choose life.
