At Costco, I saw queen pillowtop mattresses. Regular queen fitted sheets are not deep enough to accomodate those thick mattresses. I was just wondering how people cover them.

Actually, they make sheets now to accomodate the new thickeness'. C Penny has a good selection. Or go to Marshalls or TJ Maxx or the Home Goods Store they sell them for even less. I have found $400.00 sheets there for $50.00.

If you do want to make them, I go to a website called "fashionfabricsclub" and they sell sheeting fabric. It can come out to more than if you purchaded the actual sheets though.

Also, if you ever see king flat sheets at a good price, it's easier and cheaper to make the fitted sheet out of them.

buy some elastic and make elastic loops at the corners of your regular sheets. The elastic can then go over the corners of the mattress and hold your sheets securely in place. Cheap and easy. Like so many....
