What are they or what could they be?

I'm not Christian but someone told me that they are demons. Makes kind of sense since most 'ghost experiences' feature an 'evil ghost'...

I think that most people who claim that they've seen ghosts are either lying or mentally ill or under the influence of drugs. I don't think there's anything supernatural going on in the vast majority of ghost stories, "haunted" houses, and such.
If any of these alleged ghost incidents were really caused by something supernatural, then as a Christian I would say that the supernatural activity was demonic in origin. Human souls either go to Heaven or Hell - they don't just float around on earth indefinitely. While occasionally God uses one of his saints to communicate with people on earth, this is never done in a way similar to what "ghosts" are said to do - scaring people, throwing objects, making noise, etc.

Ghost are not real. If you are a real Christan you believe that souls go to heaven or hell. They don't stick around for unfinished business or something like that.

Well, I am agnostic. Our souls live many lives. In between we live in the love of the Lord on the other side. Sometimes our souls come back to visit. Sometimes a soul gets trapped here and won't go to the light. We need to try to help them go to the light, so they too can live in the love of the Lord.

When I was a child and was scared or crying in bed in the dark, my mom would come up and tell me that there was no such thing as ghosts. 'Now bless yourself and go to sleep. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.........'

I don't much care for the ghosts, but the phenomenon of ghosts is greatly to be applauded.

There are many things we do not understand. There are spirits that are helpful and then there are demons and evil spirits too. Have you never felt those? I have felt both.

Demons and devils decieving the minds of people into believing that when we die we remain here, when God said that when we leave this life we go to heaven or hell, depending on our lives here on earth.

They look like human but taller. Animals can see them but humans can not. Magicians are using them on doing their magic
