Ecclesiastes 43:19-21 For there is an eventuality as respects the beast, and they have the same eventuality. As the one dies, so the other dies, and they all have but one spirit, so that there is no superiority of the man over the beast, for everything is vanity. All are going to one place. They have all come to be from the dust, and they are all returning to the dust. Who is there knowing the spirit of the sons of mankind, whether it is ascending upward, and the spirit of the beast, whether it is descending downward to the earth.
Ecc. 9:4 b ..a live dog is better off than a dead lion.

Oh my........I have contemplated this question off and on for several years. After studing everything I can get my hands on, and listening to all sorts of opinions (yes and no), I seriously believe they DO. However, I cannot find anything solid in the Bible that spells it out in a direct manner. If anyone else has any scriptures or has done any serious study on the subject, I, too, would love to know what you've come up with.

We don't know for sure because God's #1 business is saving the souls of mankind.
We do know He loves them. Just look at how many He made! =)
The Bible says this about God's creatures that is quite interesting...
Romans 8:19-22, "For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now."

It would be Wonderful if they do. Some animals, birds and etc., are more loving and understanding then some humans. But in the Holy Bible, it reads that We should not treat our animals, like humans. They are animal and not human. So I wonder and don't know about that one.
