ok i have this cuz and he is 3 and i have a dog and he keeps on hitting my dog i try tell him stop i tell hime to home he comes back does it agin ang my dog is 6 months old i dont know wat 2 do help me

I have two mall cousins, one just dotes on my lil dog and my ferret and the other, he just like swats at it! Or did until I put a stop to it. Here is how . Toddlers aren't too young to understand that animals have feelings, and also that animals might retaliate if hurt or frightened. If I saw one of my cousins children hitting a pet, I'd immediately grab his or her hand, say no! very forcefully, and move the child away from the pet. I'd explain that animals feel pain, and that animals need to be treated gently. This needs to be reinforced and--as with other disciplinary issues--be dealt with consistentlyyou can do this.

Hope this was of some help to you and of course you could always remove the dog from the room when he comes over....though its not fair to the dog but it will keep him from being hit.

poor doggy, did u thought of telling his parents, or be more firm with him/her, and let hm/hr be aware that what's he doing is wrong, and let him/her know whatt if feels like 2 do all ths nasty thngs.
