I just underwent a TERRIBLE breakup that shook my self esteem and trust very badly. To make a long story short, I found out he'd been lying to me for the four years we were together, to the point I don't know WHAT was real anymore. We made life plans and everything.

I'm healing, and I definitely want to date again, but I find that I'm just not very trusting of guys now. I know that this happens a lot, and I know my case isn't unusual, but what I DON'T know is how to get over this and start trusting again? There ARE trustworthy guys out there, right? Where do I find them? How can I make myself trust them? Because I know if I don't, any relationship I'm in is going to be doomed from the get-go. I'm turning 25 in October; I know that's not old or anything, but I DO want to find love and have a family one day, and I can't help but to feel like I've already wasted four years and I'm running out of time.:-/

Honey,
You need to let yourself heal before you can move on to other relationships. You sound like a very intelligent, together girl with a lot going for her.
Trust is something that can only be built over time. It's too bad you had such a bad experience but we have all had our share of liars and cheats. Unfortunately, it's all part of the world we live in.
I hope you have better luck in your next boyfriend.
And you are not running out of time. At twenty-five you have all the time in the world. I'm in my forties and starting over! Beat that!

I'm sorry about what happend to you it totally sucks! I was just involved in a 6year relationship and I have a 5 year old daughter. I decided that I was drinking a little to much so I checked in to a rehab in Monteray Ca. After my 28 days I returned home to find that she is sleeping with somebody from the local Bar. What you need to do is take it a day at a time. Remember you will get over that asshole. Hang in there and remember that it's not always the guys. Be strong!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi
The first think to do is to get yourself back in order. Get strong and choose friends around you who you can trust and rely on. The once you can't get rid off. They are no friends. It is better to have one good friend then 10 half-ones or no good ones. I am married twice and I was older then you are when i got married the second time. I have a wonderfull mariage, 2 kids and it has all worked out. Do not rush into anything.

Good luck and if you want to talk contact me

All thebest

I even have been on the choice fringe of this coin. i grew to become into the single constantly accused, and it felt like my spouse wasn't satisfied except she discovered some thing, something, on me. Her previous husband cheated on her. you at the instant are not waiting for a extreme relationship in case you have believe subject concerns to this quantity. you're saying he has in no way given you a reason, yet yet you nonetheless distrust. You stand the prospect if ruining a sturdy relationship to boot as a sturdy guy. it is maximum suitable to apply the skill spent attempting to locate fault on your fiancee in direction of improving the relationship. yet you're able to desire some help or counseling on your believe subject concerns based on your ex-husband.

hey, you cant blame all the men in the world for the ones that decieved you, if anything you should have learned a few hints from those other guys on how to spot fakes. i've been burnt by women too, but i know that not all women are the same and it holds true for guys too.
